19-year-old Christian Hall was shot dead by Pennsylvania State Police on an Interstate 80 overpass in Monroe County on December 30th, 2020.
WFMZ reports, Pennsylvania state police had received a call of a distraught man on the bridge. The troopers ordered Hall to place the gun on the ground, Hall followed their instructions. Police continued to negotiate with him, they say he became uncooperative, grabbed the firearm, and started walking toward the troopers, reports indicate. When Hall pointed the gun at the troopers, they shot him, according to reports.
In the video, it appears Hall was shot with his hands up on the bridge. Hall needed help. The young man was experiencing a mental health crisis.

Hall was pronounced dead at the hospital. The Monroe County District Attorney’s Office and the state police are investigating.
Civil rights attorneys Ben Crump and Devon Jacob are representing Christian Hall’s family, and they just announced plans to file suit and are calling for an internal investigation into his death at the hands of law enforcement.
