A Kentucky woman is facing a felony accusation after she allegedly pointed an AR-15 gun at a KFC worker due to her dissatisfaction with the amount of time taken to prepare her order from the drive-thru window.
According to WKYT-TV, 33-year-old Nayda Roman is facing charges for first-degree wanton endangerment.
Roman became impatient with the delay of her order from the drive-thru window and engaged in an argument with the employees before getting out of the line and going to the restaurant’s parking lot, WKYT-TV reports.
There, Roman opened her car trunk and took out an AR-15 rifle and pointed it at one of the workers in a threatening manner, according to police. Roman then drove away without her order.
Police reviewed surveillance footage at the restaurant and identified Roman as a suspect, WKYT-TV reports. The alleged victim then picked her from a photo lineup. Roman was later arrested.
First-degree wanton endangerment is a Class D felony offense in Kentucky, which carries a penalty of one to five years in jail.
