Lyne Renée portrays General Sarah Alder, the highest-ranking officer in the Armed Forces and the only leader the witches have ever known, on Freeform’s highly anticipated original series, “Motherland: Fort Salem.”
Renée speaks on what we fans should expect from General Sarah Alder this season and the cliffhanger the show left on in season one.

Renée also spoke about portraying Helena Bergmann, the mother of Eli Brown character Otto “Obie” Bergmann.

Belgium-born Lyne Renée began with a successful career in Flemish theater and film. Her film credits include starring in Guy Ritchie’s “The Gentlemen,” opposite Matthew McConaughey. She also had supporting roles in “Cash Truck,” opposite Jason Statham and Josh Hartnett, “An L.A. Minute,” opposite Kiersey Clemons and Gabriel Byrne, as well as M. Night Shyamalan’s “Split,” and a lead in Stephen Fry’s “The Hippopotamus.”
