Malaynah Debuts EP “Kaleidoscope” and New Music Video For Andalé

EMPIRE’s multi-talented recording artist, Malaynah, has released her debut EP, Kaleidoscope, and dropped her latest music clip for Andalé. Malaynah worked with famed producer Supah Mario for Andalé and described the experience as an incredible creative collaboration and one she would cherish.
Malaynah signed with EMPIRE in April 2019, and her debut EP, Kaleidoscope, shows her versatility, lyrical ability, range, and uniqueness with nine tracks. Tracks include: Wait A Minute, Too Late, Outta My Face, Andalé, Karma, How You Want It, Mire Lo, Trust Me, and All Night. The East LA native worked with famed producers Rian Williams, Supah Mario, KP and Geronimo to create a masterpiece for her first EP. It starts with traditional hip hop and ends with a pop Latin reggae tone. ‘Mire Lo,’ ‘Trust Me,’ and ‘Andalé’ are a nod to her heritage as they include Spanish lyrics. “Every song on my EP is a reflection of my different moods, tones, and colors. I used all of my broken bits and pieces of what I’ve been through to create something beautiful. The reason I decided to name my EP, Kaleidoscope because I’m inviting the world to see me from all angles through my music,” said Malaynah. Born and raised in Boyle Heights, California, she went viral with her freestyle to Cardi B’s ‘Money’ after Cardi B reposted the freestyle to her Instagram and Twitter. Almost overnight, the video went viral, with 12.5 million people watching. Before opening up for him, Malaynah received a co-sign from Tyga, who followed and reposted her after she uploaded a freestyle to his song ‘Taste.’ All of Malaynah’s achievements and placements to date have been organic, and her first music clip, ‘Karma,’ has over 1.6M views on YouTube. Her second single, ‘Outta My Face,’ is quickly catching up with 875K views, and her third single ‘Wait A Minute’ has over 450K views. Malaynah prides herself on writing all of her songs and says, “working on this project was an eye-opening experience because not only did I get to work with incredibly talented people, but my music made me discover new sides to myself I never knew existed.” Kaleidoscope takes the listener on a journey about finding your tribe, dealing with haters, having fun, and finding love.
