Marlins Hire Kim Ng as General Manager, Making Her the First Woman and First Asian-American GM in MLB history

The Miami Marlins on Friday announced they hired Kim Ng to oversee baseball operations as general manager. This makes Ng (pronounced ANG) the first Asian-American GM in MLB history and she is believed to be the first woman GM of any professional men’s sports team in North America, according to the Marlins.
