Following the widely publicized altercation on Montgomery’s riverfront brawl, a 21-year-old Mary Todd emerged as the fourth person apprehended.
On Thursday, the local authorities announced that she had been formally charged with third-degree assault.
In the captivating footage captured at the scene, one cannot help but notice Todd, resplendent in a purple t-shirt, engaging in a heinous act of aggression toward a Black riverboat co-captain.
The heinous incident, marred by the involvement of three white assailants, quickly escalated into a tumultuous clash that cleaved along racial lines, ultimately leading to the arrest of thirteen people.
Todd has found herself in the company of Richard Roberts, 48, Allen Todd, 23, and Zachery Shipman, 25.
These people, like Todd, are currently entangled in an intricate web of charges pertaining to third-degree assault.
Roberts, displaying a sense of responsibility, appeared before the authorities on a fateful Tuesday.
Following that, Allen Todd and Shipman managed to elude capture for a day, only to be apprehended on Wednesday night and face the long arm of justice.
Mary Todd reportedly surrendered on Thursday and was charged with misdemeanor third-degree assault. According to the Montgomery Police Department, she is being held at the Montgomery Municipal Jail.
