Netflix Announces Next Iteration of ‘Monster’ Anthology: ‘Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story’

Today, Ryan Murphy and Netflix officially announced the title of the upcoming “Monster” anthology: Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.

Following the phenomenal success of DAHMER – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, Ryan Murphy, and Ian Brennan’s ground-breaking anthology series was renewed by Netflix for two more seasons.

DAHMER, the first installment of the record-breaking “Monster” anthology from Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan, surpassed 1 billion viewing hours in its first 60 days, making it one of only four series to do so.

To date, Niecy Nash-Betts has won the Critics Choice Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series, the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Limited Series, and received both SAG and Golden Globe nominations for her performance in DAHMER; Evan Peters has won the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series and received a SAG nomination, and Richard Jenkins and the series have received Golden Globe nominations.

Lyle and Erik Menendez have also been given exclusive access by Netflix for a forthcoming documentary feature.
