Nicolas Cruz identified as the shooter at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida

Valentine’s Day a day everybody should be loved and appreciate one another. Well that’s not case today in Parkland, Florida. A report of school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglass High School came out earlier today. They are 14 victims in this school shooting and 7 of them are dead. Many of these victims have been transported to Broward Health Medical Center and Broward Health North Hospital. It’s just sad, you go to school to get an education to better your future and stuff like this happens. They are approximately 3000 students that attend Stoneman Douglass High School because it’s the only high school in Parkland. When is it the appropriate time to start changing gun control laws? We keep giving our prayers and condolences to these people that are affected by this tragedy but aren’t doing anything in the system to provide a safer place for our own. The Stoneman Douglass High School shooter has been identified as Nicolas Cruz. Nicolas is 19 years old, he’s a former student at Stoneman Douglass High School. Nicolas was flagged as campus threat. “We were told last year that he wasn’t allowed on campus with a backpack on him.” Students even joked around and predicted he would be the one to shoot up the school. This is the moment authorities took Nicolas into custody for the shooting.

Today’s shooting at a high school in Parkland, Florida is the 18th school shooting so far this year, according to gun control advocacy organization Everytown For Gun Safety. It’s February 14th.
