A teacher’s aide got accused of taping a 4th-grade student to a classroom chair at Seven Oaks Elementary School in Lexington, South Carolina.

25-year-old Olivia Michelle Murray got charged with cruelty to children, according to an arrest warrant.

The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department conducted an investigation that determined Murray used duct tape to tape the student’s legs to a chair on Wednesday while the teacher was out of the classroom. Murray reportedly told detectives the student got moved to the back of the class for being disruptive and not listening.

Deputies arrested Murray Wednesday night at her home. She got held in the Lexington County Detention Center.
