A Pretty Ricky member faces a civil suit in Arizona, where he’s accused of sexual assault and battery.
Alexis Dieng filed the suit against Spectacular Smith in Maricopa County in August; TMZ obtained the document and broke the story first.
According to the suit, Smith contacted Dieng through Instagram in October 2025. The discussion began after Smith asked for recommendations for places to eat. The conversation continued, and Smith slowly won Dieng’s trust before proposing they meet in person.
Initially, Smith offered one meeting location. But then he changed the location to the residence located in Maricopa County. According to the complaint, Dieng went there alone the next night at about 10:30 pm.
The suit says Smith made physical contact and proceeded to engage in sexual intercourse without her consent. It claims that Smith put his hands around Dieng’s neck and applied pressure that made it difficult for her to breathe, AllHipHop reported.
The complaint also states that the defendant filmed the entire incident, or parts of it, using a recorder. Nonconsensual recording is charged separately from the sexual assault claims in Arizona.
Dieng says she visited the Family Advocacy Center in Phoenix the following day to undergo a forensic sexual assault examination, and the results were described as tenderness, redness, and an indentation on the right side of her neck, Baller Alert reported.
Phoenix attorney Benjamin Taylor represents Dieng. “We plan to seek justice for our client,” said Taylor.
Smith hasn’t made any public comments regarding the suit. As reported by TMZ, it tried to reach Smith but got no response. Smith’s lawyer had not responded to the suit, and no court date had been set, AllHipHop reported.
Born in Miami, Smith rose to fame with Pretty Ricky, a group known for songs including “Grind With Me” and “Your Body.” Smith later appeared on Love & Hip Hop and founded Adwizar, a social media company. In February 2025, he joined his fellow band members for the Verzuz battle against B2K.
This is not the first civil case against him. Smith was arrested in December 2020 on a charge of misdemeanor battery after an altercation with a Walt Disney World employee, Baller Alert reported.
A Broward County, Florida, jury found Smith not liable in the employee’s related civil suit in April 2025.
