A family attorney confirmed that Terron Boone was fatally shot by LA County Sheriff’s deputies on Wednesday. Officials allege he opened fire on the deputies, with the deputies then returning fire. Boone was the half-brother of Robert Fuller, a 24-year-old Black man who was found dead in Palmdale last week. An official cause of death has not yet been confirmed in Fuller’s case.

Lt. Robert Westphal claimed the suspect, Boone exited the passenger side of the car and opened fire on the police. He claims Boone fired at least five shots at the detectives and the deputies returned fire and shot him the chest, killing him.
This is interesting because a woman named Siara Anderson said she was on the balcony of an apartment building adjacent to the parking lot in the 3400 block of 15th Street West when Boone was shot. Anderson said that she heard four or five gunshots and saw a man slumped in the passenger seat of a blue sport utility vehicle, clearly dead, according to the LA Times.
The woman driving the car was shot once in the chest and taken to a local hospital, where she was treated and released Wednesday night. A 7-year-old girl was in the car’s back seat but was not injured in the gunfire, Westphal said.
None of the deputies or their cars were equipped with cameras during this shoot out. This is a video from the apartment complex.
