Selena Gomez claps back at people reacting negatively over her not naming Francia Raisa as one of her friends in the industry, during a recent interview.
Gomez says, “Sorry I didn’t mention every person I know” underneath a Tik Tok account.
Francia Raisa recently unfollowed Selena Gomez on Instagram after the “Only Muders in the Building” star claimed Taylor Swift is her “only friend” in the industry.
Gomez spoke with Rolling Stone about her friendship with Taylor Swift: “I never fit in with a cool group of girls that were celebrities. My only friend in the industry really is Taylor [Swift], so I remember feeling like I didn’t belong.”
As most know, Selena was diagnosed with lupus back in 2015. Luckily, she had a kidney transplant thanks to Francia Raisa, who gave up one of her kidneys to help out Selena. The two had been friends since 2007.
Their friendship took a turn for the worse in 2018 after Gomez was reportedly living an unhealthy lifestyle. She had reportedly started to drink alcohol, which could be detrimental to her health due to her condition. The drinking allegedly started to happen after Justin Bieber tied the knot with his now-wife, Hailey Bieber.
Raisa wasn’t featured in Selena’s “My Mind & Me” documentary, nor mentioned, despite Selena talking about her kidney transplant in the documentary.
