Seven John Singleton Unveils his New Atlanta Soundstage

A legacy of impact rarely ends with just one generation; especially when there’s genuine respect and honorance of the culture. As the influence continues to evolve and reaches levels of influential heights, the new legacy makes their presence known by redefining itself to the world.

In College Park, a moment of cinematic history took root with the official announcement of the Seven-John Singleton Soundstage where his new talk show will debut.

At only 7-years old, Seven is a rising actor that’s making his legendary mark in the entertainment industry; following in the footsteps of his father; the late iconic director John Singleton. This new soundstage is a creative studio that honors legacy, but built for the upcoming generations of evolved storytelling.

After Seven was inspired by visiting Tyler Perry’s tribute soundstage, he knew he wanted to cement his father in cinema history with beloved significance.

This permanent tribute to his father, uniquely custom designed by Leslie Orta, was lovingly debuted on John Singleton’s birthday to further honor his legacy and significance of passing the ‘entertainment bug’ torch to his son. Not only does the love for the arts run in his blood, but his Godfather is actor and R&B sensation Tyrese Gibson.

Furthermore, this grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony provides a new creative space for entertainers and opportunities.

As his father’s highly acclaimed and groundbreaking films have become household names such as Boyz n the Hood, Poetic Justice, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Baby Boy, and fan-favorite series Snowfall, he’s had a major revolutionary impact in reshaping modern cinema.

Not only did his films entertain, but they sparked controversial and insightful conversations by challenging narratives and provided additional opportunities for Black representation within cinema.

He’s continuously influenced upcoming visionaries, regardless of the generation era, who can only dream to reach the same level of heights and highly respected craft that has widely impacted the entertainment industry.

Now, that compelling storytelling spirit continues to shine its light through his son, Seven. As he forges his own path in the entertainment industry, his academic accomplishments and resume is incredibly impressive as it can already rival those that are industry veterans.

At only 4 years-old he became one of the youngest members of Mensa, the renowned high IQ society. His love for reading has produced his first publication as an author of ‘Angel 7 and The Devil Overlord’.

Seven has starred in BET’s Assisted Living, ABC’s Emmy Award-winning Abbott Elementary, and FX’s hit series Snowfall. Furthermore, he’s recently made appearances on the Portia TV Show, KTLA 5 News, and KJLH Radio.

He consistently earns and receives the respect of top industry executives as he navigates his career through the industry; including Quinta Brunson and Tyler Perry.

Since the passing of his late father, Black Hollywood continues to wrap their arms around Seven with support and guidance; similar to how his father contributed to the expansion and massive success of their careers. Actor and Grammy-winning artist Ludacris, FX’s Snowfall Isaiah John, and BET’s Assisted Living Chris Greene. 

The grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony of Seven’s soundstage to announce his new ‘The Seven John Singleton Show’ couldn’t have come at a better time before he returned to filming for Abbot Elementary’s new season. This kid-friendly talk show will star Seven as the talk show host and feature episodes that blend comedy, candid conversations and guests that range from a variety of kids, celebrities, creators, entrepreneurs, and more.

The celebrations surrounding this new soundstage establishment and John Singleton’s birthday continued next door at Aye Tea Elle restaurant. Media correspondents, celebrity guests, family, friends, and more supporters were hosted as a variety of dishes and drinks were served throughout the evening.

A special birthday tribute was given in honor of John Singleton and Seven helped lead this celebration by cutting a cake that was intricately and beautifully designed. As Seven consistently strives to advance his career and honor his father’s massive cinematic impact, he’s absolutely on the radar to watch as an upcoming actor that’s destined for greatness.
