SZA is gifting fans an early holiday treat with the highly anticipated SOS deluxe album, Lana, set to release this Wednesday, December 20th.

The announcement came via Instagram, where SZA teased the album with a playful clip featuring none other than Ben Stiller, offering a sneak peek of her new track, “Drive.”

The teaser, inspired by the hit series Severance, features Stiller behind the wheel, lip-syncing passionately to SZA’s soulful lyrics:
“I been up ’til midnight / Drivin’ to nowhere / Bumpin’ a slow song / Can’t get my head clear…”

Fans were quick to express their excitement, not just for the unexpected collaboration but also for the promise of more music. SZA has hinted that Lana will feel like “a whole other album,” expanding on the original SOS with 7-10 fresh tracks.

The project, first announced last year, gained even more buzz after its official title was revealed in September 2023. Known for pushing creative boundaries, SZA continues to surprise, with Lana marking her first musical release since the record-breaking success of SOS.

The timing couldn’t be better as SZA gears up for her co-headlining tour with Kendrick Lamar, kicking off in April 2025. Renowned for her bold collaborations, SZA’s cameo-filled history includes Vivica A. Fox in her “Kill Bill” video and Drew Barrymore in her CTRL-era visual, “Drew Barrymore.” Adding Ben Stiller to the mix is another testament to her knack for blending music with pop culture.

With Lana just days away, fans are ready to dive into the next chapter of SZA’s artistry. Mark your calendars, and don’t miss the release this Friday—Lana promises to be the soundtrack to the season.
