Following the unfortunate deaths of seven humanitarian workers for the World Central Kitchen in Gaza, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has taken a momentous diplomatic step by suspending all contacts with Israel. Al-Khaja referred to the current state of ties between the two countries as “the darkest day,” emphasizing the gravity of the circumstances.
