Colby Covington made his second attempt at becoming a UFC champion as he challenged Kamaru Usman for the welterweight title on Sunday at UFC 268. However, Usman successfully defended his welterweight title as he scored a unanimous decision victory (48-47, 48-47, 49-46) after five rounds of battle.
Rose Namajunas and Weili Zhang go the distance with Namajunas winning by a split decision and retaining her strawweight title.
Justin Gaethje defeated Michael Chandler by unanimous decision in one of the best fights of 2021!
Coach ‘Trifecta’ Trevor Wittman goes 3-0 for the night. Wittman deserves coach of the year, three fights, two championship fights, and goes 3-0. Also his work earlier with Rose and Usman this year.
