White Woman Says Deaths of Black People Found Hanging Deserve Lynching Investigations

A TikTok user is accusing law enforcement agencies of dismissing the deaths of Black people found hanging from trees, saying investigators rule the cases suicides before conducting a serious inquiry.

Kylie Brewer posted a video titled “Black people don’t hang themselves from trees,” in which she said authorities are misleading the public about a string of recent deaths.

“I don’t know who needs to f***ing hear this, but I’m so sick of the authorities genuinely trying to gaslight people, especially terrified Black people, that, ‘oh, no, don’t worry, there’s nothing wrong. These were just suicides.’

“I don’t know how many times people will have to say that this was a lynching. And the fact that there have been six deaths just in the last month or two of Black people that were found hanging from trees should show you that there is something going on,” Brewer said.

She went on to accuse the Ku Klux Klan of maintaining a presence in law enforcement.

“The KKK is still active in many parts of the country, like, probably even involved with some police departments as well. So it should come as no surprise that people aren’t investigating this, and they’re just automatically ruling it as a suicide.

“But that doesn’t make any sense, because there has been so much racial terror in America over the last multiple centuries, including today. It should be established as a lynching and then ruled a suicide way down the line, not automatically ruled as, ‘oh, accidental death.’

“Because, again, who is taking a noose and doing this? No one. There’s so many other methods by which people take their lives, and hanging themselves when they’re Black is not one of them.

“Law enforcement is f***ing disgusting and corrupt, and this is why no one trusts them,” she said.
