This week, a video posted on the platform by the user @sarah.kate0959 went viral after she shared the experience of her ex-boyfriend fathering her younger sister’s child.
She shares the experience in the video. She says she got the news about her sister’s pregnancy, which was already four months in, not from the sister directly, but from seeing the sister post about the pregnancy on Instagram while she was on vacation with her friend.

“My boyfriend got my sister pregnant. Not just my sister, my little sister,” she says in the video.
She shares that she and her boyfriend broke up about two months ago. Her boyfriend said it was because of family problems and because he was feeling stagnant in life.
“We also both just felt like we weren’t growing in the relationship together at all, so we just cut it off,” she shares.
She shares that the following month after the breakup, she found out her younger sister was already four months pregnant with her ex-boyfriend’s child. This means the pregnancy occurred while they were in the relationship.
She shares that she believes her friends already suspected the situation because they would be spending a lot of time with her sister. She shares that her ex-boyfriend and sister would post pictures and videos of themselves on Instagram and TikTok.
“One of my very close friends kept telling me that she had suspicions of my little sister and my boyfriend,” she shares. “They would never do that, girl. Little did I know. My boyfriend was three years older than my little sister.”
The signs, she says, were coming from more than one friend.
“It wasn’t just my close friend. There were a few other friends who were pretty suspicious,” she explains, describing how her ex and her sister were “hanging out quite a lot” and posting cute photos and TikTok videos together.
She admits she rationalized his behavior at the time. “I mean, I thought to myself, ‘It’s just my little sister. He’s just being friendly with her.’ Yeah. Because he had canceled plans with me a few times to hang out with my little sister instead.”
The moment she found out intensified her shock.
“Exactly how I found out she was pregnant was through an Instagram story. While I was on vacation with one of my friends,” she says. The Instagram post she and her ex-boyfriend both posted confirmed his role in her sister’s pregnancy. “It was a literal maternity shoot. They both posted it, so I knew it was his.”
The reason for her ex-boyfriend’s breakup with her began to make sense at that moment.
“So no, he did not break up with me because of family issues. No, he broke up with me because my little sister is pregnant by him,” she says now.
After seeing the Instagram post announcing her sister’s pregnancy, she contacted both parties directly. “So I texted them, and they’re like, yeah, we were going to tell you when you got back from vacation. We just didn’t know how,” she says. “Why didn’t you guys tell me four months ago?”
She admits she now understands the complicated family situation she will have to deal with.
“So I guess now he’s a part of my family,” she says.
The TikTok creator points out that her sister has yet to come home since then. The family has planned a dinner to discuss the situation, and she ends her video by addressing her audience.
