Victoria Anne Cranmer is charged with various offenses after a video captured on a friend’s phone was discovered by police and used as evidence of child sexual abuse, according to a prosecutor’s report.

Cranmer has been in custody at the Ocean County Jail since July 8th after she was charged with second-degree sexual assault, second-degree manufacturing of child sexual abuse material, third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, and third-degree possession of child sexual abuse material, said the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.

The charges are based on the offense involving one child under the age of 13, according to prosecutors.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, the investigation began on May 20th after the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency referred the case to the Little Egg Harbor Police Department and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit. The names of individuals involved in the incident, as well as those of the child’s family, have been redacted from the report issued by the prosecutor’s office.

The investigation was triggered by a mother’s interview. According to the information, Cranmer babysat her son in the past, but stopped after the discovery of the video recording, which raised her concerns about the change in the child’s behavior. The woman became aware of the video after her friend shared it with her. That person became concerned about her son’s behavior after letting Cranmer stay in her house for about three months. At times, Cranmer babysat the friend’s daughter as well, according to the affidavit.

It was reported that Cranmer had a birthday present in the form of a phone from a friend who was concerned about her mental state and asked her to leave. After that, the friend took the phone and found a 14-second video saved in Cranmer’s Snapchat Memories. The friend saved the video to avoid its deletion and logged out of the application. Later, she handed the phone to the police for further investigation.

Based on the findings from the single video, investigators requested warrants for Cranmer’s phone and Snapchat account. During the forensic examination, additional videos were found in Snapchat’s Memories folder, including the one saved on May 6.

The friend said she could identify Cranmer by her tattoos, voice, and the bathroom where the video was made. It was stated that in one of the videos, Cranmer could be seen sitting on a toilet, exposing her genitals while the child was touching her, and the woman was laughing and talking with the child.

The prosecutor’s office approved the above-mentioned charges on July 7th.

Victoria Anne Cranmer is considered innocent until proven otherwise in a court of law. It is not known whether Cranmer has a lawyer.

I make over $220 an hour while working from home and looking after my two kids. I was hesitant at first, but when my friend, who earns more than $35,000 a month, encouraged me to try it, I went for it. It’s been amazing! I have more time and money than I ever thought possible. Want to see how?
