Warner Bros. Pictures has released a trailer for “Remain,” a movie starring Jake Gyllenhaal. It will mark a collaboration between best-selling novelist Nicholas Sparks and filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan.
In “Remain,” Gyllenhaal stars as Tate Gordon, an architect who relocates to a coastal town to complete the work on his project. In the town, he encounters a charming young woman who makes him come out of his shell and get involved in a mysterious menace in the town.
Also starring in “Remain” are Phoebe Dynevor, Ashley Walters, Julie Hagerty, and Jay O. Sanders.
Shyamalan directs and writes “Remain,” based on his and Sparks’ story. Shyamalan, Ashwin Rajan, Marc Bienstock, and Theresa Park produced the film, while Sparks served as an executive producer.
The team behind “Remain” includes director of photography Adolpho Veloso, production designer Sam Lisenco, editor Noemi Preiswerk, costume designer Caroline Duncan, casting director Douglas Aibel, music supervisor Gabe Hilfer, and composer James Newton Howard.
“Remain,” a Blinding Edge Pictures presentation in association with Warner Bros. Pictures, will make its way to the big screen in North America on February 5, 2027, and in other parts of the world from February 3, 2027.
