A 24-year-old Illinois woman has been charged with sexually assaulting a juvenile following an investigation by Yorkville police, authorities said Wednesday.
Faith Hansen faces seven counts each of criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Yorkville police launched an investigation in February that indicated Hansen engaged in sexual conduct with a juvenile on multiple occasions between January and March 2024, according to a news release.
Hansen was taken into custody on Wednesday and transported to the Kendall County jail, where she awaits a pre-trial detention hearing. Jail records indicate she was due in court today.
