The former Mountain View Christian School Athletics and Student Leadership Director has been charged with felony lewdness with a child after authorities say she had a four-year relationship with a former student.

The alleged victim went to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department on Monday, June 6, 2022, and reported that she had sexual contact with her teacher Katilin Glover while she was a student.

Based on the report, the victim informed the police that Glover initiated by offering her advice in December 2017, which eventually led to them communicating through Snapchat.

Furthermore, the victim mentioned to the police that she and Glover had daily phone conversations for a duration of four years.

According to the report, it was mentioned that Glover intended to have a conversation with the victim regarding her past relationships and sexual experiences.

The victim informed the authorities that Glover began sharing explicit photos of herself with her on Snapchat and that they would engage in phone conversations.

The victim informed the police that since May 2018, Glover would kindly offer to give her a ride in her car and take her to a location close to the victim’s previous residence, where they would occasionally participate in consensual sexual activities every other week.

According to the report, the victim stated to the police that she refrained from sharing any information about their relationship for a period of four years, as Glover had expressed that she would harm herself if the victim ended the relationship or revealed it to the authorities.

According to the report, it was mentioned that Glover has been working as a teacher since August 2014. However, the report did not specify the location of her teaching position.

The police were able to acquire phone records from the victim, which revealed phone conversations between the victim and Glover spanning from November 2018 to July 2020, including a number of extended calls.

However, it should be noted that the victim’s phone service was unable to supply phone records preceding that time period.

The victim told police that she communicated with Glover primarily through Snapchat, according to the report.

Between August 2020 and January 2022, 430 calls were made to the victim’s phone, according to Glover’s phone records.

According to the report, Glover and the police spoke on July 6, 2022. Glover reportedly refuted each and every accusation.

She admitted to the police that although she and the victim had been classmates, they had developed a close friendship and that she saw herself as the victim’s mother and mentor.

The former Mountain View Christian School teacher admitted to taking the victim home several times and being “there for her” to the police.

According to the report, Glover claimed that she committed those crimes because the victim had “many issues.”

Glover admitted to the police that she had “on many occasions” used Snapchat to communicate with the victim, but that the victim had since stopped speaking to her.

Glover believed she “put a lot of time and effort, including money, into [the victim’s] future,” but the victim broke off contact, the police claim. Glover claimed that she was upset by this and texted the victim to say “I love you and miss you.”

According to the report, Glover admitted to police that she would talk on the phone with the victim for extended periods of time while doing chores or cleaning when they spoke because the victim “was sad or alone.”

According to the report, Glover’s lawyer Joel Mann provided the police with two letters they claimed were written by the victim.

One letter claimed that the victim declared Glover is a “better mother than her biological mother” and the second letter stated that Glover “is her hero” and “changed her life.”

The victim reportedly informed police that she was coming forward because she had learned that Glover was involved with another student.

Police spoke with the student named by the victim in August 2022, and she told them she had never been in a relationship with Glover.

When police asked to see her phone’s messages, she said they weren’t there because she had deleted them all in January.

Glover was apprehended by police on August 3, 2023. She is charged with one count of lewdness with a child under the age of 14 and two counts of a school employee engaging in sexual conduct with a student 16 or older.

Glover was released without bond on the condition that she not contact the victim. Her next court date is set for Thursday, September 14th.
