Amazon MGM Studios unveiled the world premiere of “Love of Your Life” on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto as part of the Toronto International Film Festival.
Attendees included director Rachel Morrison and actors Margaret Qualley, Aaron Pierre, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Gabriel Basso, and Catherine Keener. Other attendees included screenwriter Julia Cox and producer Jessie Henderson.
After the screening, attendees celebrated at Soho House Toronto.
Written and directed by Morrison, the movie centers on Maya (Qualley), whose encounter with Charlie (Basso) kicks off an all-encompassing romance and an unexpected future. However, once that future comes crashing down, Maya must face a new reality that forces her to examine her identity and what she wants from love.
Cox co-wrote the film, and Ryan Gosling and Jessie Henderson co-produced it. The cast also includes Tamara Lawrance and Corey Johnson. Dustin O’Halloran composed the music, Jill Taylor designed the costumes, and Jennifer Vecchiarello did the editing. Laura Ellis Cricks served as production designer, and Todd Banhazl as director of photography.
“Love of Your Life” will have a limited theatrical release in theaters on October 7, 2026, followed by its global streaming debut on Prime Video on October 14, 2026.
