Netflix has announced a new romantic comedy series called Our Sticky Love coming out on August 7th.
The story is about a prosecutor named Go Eun-sae, who suffers from amnesia, and a boxing coach named Jang Tae-ha, who claims to be her boyfriend. Being amnesic and unable to prove her identity, she ends up living with Tae-ha and getting a second chance both in life and love.
A new teaser poster features the two characters in a village called Yeot. The poster depicts the duo standing in front of a house’s yard. Jang Tae-ha is smiling a little bit apprehensively while Go Eun-sae looks confused.
A teaser trailer for the new show combines a fish-out-of-water comedy plot with a touch of noir-thriller atmosphere. At first, we see Go Eun-sae as a successful prosecutor living in Seoul, but after waking up in a rural hospital in a state of total amnesia, the show becomes hilarious. Her boyfriend, Jang Tae-ha, who is wearing sweatpants, tells her he is her boyfriend.
Although suffering from amnesia, Eun-sae still keeps her city ways, leading to amusing situations because she doesn’t believe that a rough guy can be her man. Moreover, the trailer gives a sense of her mysterious past and even features crime bosses, including Baek Sang-gil, played by Heo Sung-tae.
Our Sticky Love will premiere exclusively on Netflix on August 7th.
