This Christmas season, Amazon Prime Video is unwrapping an early gift for fans of festive films with the release of its holiday original, “Candy Cane Lane.” Starring the legendary Eddie Murphy, the movie takes audiences on a holiday comedy adventure centered around a man’s quest to win his neighborhood’s annual Christmas home decoration contest.

In “Candy Cane Lane,” Eddie Murphy portrays Chris, a character who unintentionally strikes a deal with a mischievous elf named Pepper, played by Jillian Bell. Pepper, aiming to boost Chris’s chances of winning the competition, casts a magic spell that brings the 12 Days of Christmas to life, causing chaos throughout the entire town. Now, Chris, along with his wife Carol (Tracee Ellis Ross) and their three children, must race against time to break Pepper’s spell, confront magically mischievous characters, and save Christmas for everyone.

The star-studded cast includes Thaddeus J. Mixson, Ken Marino, Nick Offerman, Robin Thede, Chris Redd, Genneya Walton, Madison Thomas, Anjelah Johnson-Reyes, Lombardo Boyar, D.C. Young Fly, Danielle Pinnock, Timothy Simons, Riki Lindhome, and Stephen Tobolowsky.
