Rebekah Blackwell-Taylor: Riverside County Substitute Teacher Charged For Lewd Acts With Student

In Riverside County, a 22-year-old substitute teacher got detained on felony charges of engaging in lewd acts with a student under, the age of 18, according to KTLA.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office press release states that on April 28, detectives from the Special Victims Unit of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office visited Orange Vista High School in Perris to look into the claims.

Rebekah Blackwell-Taylor, a Moreno Valley resident and substitute teacher at the high school, is alleged to have “committed a lewd act with a male student,” according to KTLA.

According to police, Blackwell-Taylor got charged with “annoying and molesting a child under the age of 18, and other felony charges” when she got remanded to the Robert Presley Detention Center on May 2nd.
