Shannon Beador, a cast member of The Real Housewives of Orange County, was apprehended for driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident on Saturday evening in Newport Beach, California.
According to reports, the incident took place when she purportedly crashed into a residential property in the vicinity.
After the reported collision with the residential property, Beador is said to have initially tried to leave the scene but eventually parked her car in the middle of the street.
According to TMZ’s report on Monday morning, Beador exited her vehicle with her dog. She then returned to the road and parked her car again in the middle of the street, still accompanied by her dog.
The police were informed, and when they arrived, they discovered Beador acting as if she was taking a casual stroll. However, they promptly determined that she was intoxicated and consequently apprehended her.
A spokesperson from the Newport Beach Police Department announced that Beador has been charged with two misdemeanors, specifically hit-and-run and DUI alcohol. Additionally, her vehicle was seized as part of the ongoing police investigation.
Beador was cited and later released without having to post bail.
