The horror thriller “Crawlers” is set to hit theaters on October 16th, thanks to a collaboration between Roadside Attractions and Saban Films, and it will premiere with a red-band trailer.
“Crawlers,” directed by Ángel Gómez Hernández and written by Jayson Rothwell, revolves around an outbreak of venomous spiders, causing an entire building to be locked down. The building’s residents and Serena, the building’s manager, must find ways to survive while trapped by the police quarantine.
Matilda Lutz stars as Serena, who may turn out to be the savior of the residents of the building because of her intimate knowledge of the building, if she overcomes her fear.
Producers include Scott Strauss, Peter Welter, Rothwell, Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, Josh Weinstock, and Alexandra Milchan. Andrew Schwartzberg, Jon Shiffman, and Diarmaid McGrath are the movie’s executive producers.
