Hulu has unveiled the trailer for the highly anticipated fourth season of its critically acclaimed comedy series, Only Murders in the Building. The Emmy-winning show, which follows a trio of unlikely friends who become amateur detectives, is set to return on August 27th with new episodes streaming on Tuesdays.

Season four finds Charles, Oliver, and Mabel grappling with the shocking aftermath of season three’s cliffhanger involving Charles’ stunt double, Sazz Pataki. As they investigate whether Sazz or Charles was the intended target, the case takes them from the familiar confines of the Arconia to the glamorous world of Hollywood, where their podcast is being adapted into a film.

The new season boasts an impressive ensemble cast featuring returning favorites Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez and a star-studded lineup of guest appearances. Meryl Streep, Zach Galifianakis, Eugene Levy, Eva Longoria, Richard Kind, Jane Lynch, Melissa McCarthy, Kumail Nanjiani, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and Molly Shannon join the cast, adding depth and comedic flair to the series.

While the allure of Hollywood beckons, the trailer suggests that the trio’s focus will ultimately return to the Arconia. As they delve into the mysteries of the building’s West Tower, viewers can expect a fresh slate of eccentric characters and intricate plotlines.

Created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman, Only Murders in the Building has captured the hearts of audiences with its clever writing, witty humor, and engaging characters. The series’ success is a testament to the enduring appeal of the mystery genre and the power of storytelling.
