A 75-year-old lady died after an altercation with the shift leader of a Tim Hortons branch in Fort Wayne, according to reports.

According to the reports, Anita Ann Grayson entered the Tim Hortons lobby at Ice Way and Lima Road on May 13, 2026, to voice out complaints regarding her drive-thru order. According to witnesses, Grayson yelled at a 17-year-old girl who was working at the counter.

As soon as the 20-year-old shift leader, August Horner, intervened, Grayson struck her, leading to an altercation wherein the two ladies fell to the floor. The brawl was eventually stopped by bystanders.

After the incident, Grayson sat down on one of the tables in the store, but later moved to the floor, where she lost consciousness. She died shortly thereafter.

Grayson’s family members and other citizens have been demanding justice from Tim Hortons, requesting the closure of the store following her death.

Further information on the incident was not immediately available.
