Errol Spence Jr. and Terence “Bud” Crawford Fight Set For July 29th

The undisputed welterweight championship will be decided on July 29 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas when Errol Spence Jr. and Terence “Bud” Crawford square off, according to ESPN’s Mike Coppinger.

According to ESPN, Crawford, and Spence will each receive a guaranteed eight-figure payday for their Showtime PPV fight.

The most anticipated boxing match since the megafight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao in 2015 will happen due to the negotiations between Al Haymon and Ish Hinson, who represents the elite fighters.

Crawford and Spence expected to earn around eight figures just for entering the ring. According to ABC News, there is a bidirectional rematch clause that the loser can exercise within 30 days of the fight. The publication reports that it’s a two-fight deal.

Crawford and Spence are expected to move up to 154 pounds following their likely rematch, which must take place before the end of 2023.
