NYPD arrested one of the best New York subway musicians, who goes by Jazzajillo. The Jazz player is usually seen playing at 34th Herald Square for the last 5 years. The musician’s motto is literally “Dancing is Happiness” but the police arrested him for an alleged permit issue.
Jazzajillo claims his wrist is injured from the tight handcuffs, emotionally depressed, and his saxophone was damaged during the incident. He plays at the subway station to help provide for his family.
The musician revealed he spent overnight in a cell and has a court appearance on July 13th at Kings and New York criminal courthouse at 9:30 AM.
