OnlyFans Star Taila Maddison Faces Online Backlash: “I Slept with 22 Men in 10 Days”

Taila Maddison, an Australian sex worker, described how she was severely “slut-shamed” after confessing she had sex with twenty-two men during a ten-day holiday after a breakup. 

Maddison got considerable recognition last year when she realized that her stepfather was her top subscriber on OnlyFans, resulting in an unexpected and viral twist in her online presence.

On January 6th, the 25-year-old adult content creator, who shares her life journey, posted a TikTok video narrating her recent encounters with numerous men in a brief span.

Maddison faced severe backlash from the self-proclaimed “woke” influencer Freddiemc, along with his nearly 1 million followers across Instagram and TikTok.

She voiced her dismay at the extreme scrutiny, adding that she is used to criticism due to the nature of her profession but found this attack especially difficult as a woman who is out about her sexual orientation. The backlash exposed prevalent double standards in society’s expectations of men and women in terms of sexual behavior.

The research confirms the occurrence of such double standards. A study published in the National Library of Medicine found that gender influences cultural acceptance of sexual activity, with boys frequently rewarded for having several partners while girls face stigma for comparable behavior.

Maddison addressed the disparity by saying, “Men will never have to experience this kind of judgment or know what it’s like to be called a slut.” She stressed the unfairness of such unequal standards remaining in 2024, as well as the misogynistic comments she got, which were frequently loaded with bullying.

Despite the negativity, Maddison maintains a positive attitude, crediting her tough skin to having to deal with “nasty” comments about her career every day. She defended her candor, claiming that sex is a normal aspect of life and nothing to be ashamed of. She also stated that her ex-partner is supportive and aware of her lifestyle, highlighting their ability to separate from the online drama.

While Taila Maddison experienced scathing criticism, some people defended her, pointing out the huge difference in emotions if a guy were in the same scenario. Maddison, unaffected by the online response, reaffirmed her desire to continue her chosen lifestyle, saying, “I’m going to continue whether you like it or not.”
