Rep. Yassamin Ansari, D-Ariz., is criticizing President Donald Trump for what she describes as a nightly habit of posting artificial intelligence-generated content to Truth Social in the early morning hours, calling it evidence that he is unfit to serve.
Ansari, who represents Arizona’s 3rd Congressional District and entered Congress in 2025 after serving on the Phoenix City Council, made the remarks in an interview with Meidas Touch reporter Pablo Manriquez.
“Donald Trump is so unwell,” Ansari said. “The fact that the President of the United States spends every single night from the span of midnight to 3 to 4 a.m. on Truth Social creating AI slop, it’s unbelievable.”
Ansari linked the behavior to growing calls among some lawmakers to invoke the 25th Amendment, which provides a mechanism for removing a president deemed unable to discharge the duties of the office.
“I think that’s why you’re seeing more and more people call for the 25th Amendment and just recognize that he is unfit to be president, let alone any sort of leadership position in any capacity in this country,” she said.
