Popular Twitch streamer Morgpie received a temporary suspension after a stream in which she played Dark Souls 3 with the soles of her feet.
On May 24, Morgpie conducted a special stream titled “Dark Soles,” in which her feet were placed on her desktop, serving as a green screen for the gameplay.
The original stream seems to have been deleted from Twitch, but the moment is available in clips.
The streamer has posted a screenshot of an email from Twitch regarding her temporary suspension. The message states: “This channel cannot stream at this time due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines.”
According to Twitch’s policies, one is not supposed to show their clothed private body parts for prolonged periods of time (e.g., buttocks, groin, breasts). It might be assumed that the feet-based stream was covered by this rule, although it is currently unknown whether other actions also resulted in suspension.
Morgpie indicated that the ban would be temporary and that she intended to continue her “Dark Soles” stream this weekend, suggesting it was likely no more than a five-day ban.
Morgpie is notorious for her tests of Twitch boundaries. Among other things, she popularized the concept of the platform’s “topless” format and managed to broadcast her pet animals dressed in clothes without being banned before.
