Seattle Seahawks Player Chad Wheeler Pleads Not Guilty In Felony Domestic Violence Case

On January 27, 2021, the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office filed three criminal charges against Chad Brandon Wheeler: first-degree domestic violence assault, domestic violence unlawful imprisonment and resisting arrest.

This morning, there was an arraignment for Chad Brandon Wheeler on the three charges filed against him last Wednesday, Jan. 27. Mr. Wheeler pleaded not guilty to those charges.

A judge kept bail set at $400,000, which was the amount set by a judge at Mr. Wheeler’s first appearance. The judge also ordered Mr. Wheeler to remain in the King County area (King, Pierce and Snohomish counties) while on electronic home detention.

Mr. Wheeler’s next court date is a case setting hearing scheduled for Feb. 11. A trial date is set for April 6th.
